<p>China&#8217;s wind power industry is still promising in the long run, although the growth rate will inevitably slow down compared to that of previous years, according to a report from the international consulting firm Frost &amp; Sullivan.</p>

<p>On October 17, at the China-EU new energy technology innovation cooperation and investment forum, Wang Weimin, chief engineer of Dongfang Steam Turbine Co., Ltd., said that the growth rate of China&#8217;s wind power had reached over 100 percent for three consecutive years.</p>
<p>In 2008, installed wind power capacity in China increased over 6 million kWh, two times more than 2007’s.
